Mobile Mike moved to South Florida in the early 90′s paving the way for his career at the Power 96 radio station as an intern. This became his home for over ten years. Five years after his time with Power 96 ended, he began working at Cox Radio stations in South Florida. This stepping stones gave way to an opportunity of a life-time. His true dream; to work with Clear Channel Communications.
Growing up in Michigan and Connecticut, Mike always wanted to be on the radio and his passion has always been to help others. Mike’s passion is creating a promotion from beginning to end, by taking a simple idea and turning it into a vision and making it a reality. When Mike started it was only a dream, he said, “I told my dad I always wanted a tour bus and he said yeah, right, so does everybody!” Now his tour bus is used to promote and assist organizations throughout South Florida. “It’s all about passion in my world, energy, creativity and determination to provide the highest level of first class promotional services for all of my events, no matter how big or small”, says Mike.
From on line marketing to banner planes flying over the beach, Mobile Mike’s ideas are endless. The Mobile Mike first of it’s kind, HDTV Truck along with the street teams of people, eighteen trucks and cars, as well as tons of live radio promos are just some of the things you can see Mike working on in a typical day. “Just being able to help people in their time of need and to do things no one else can do is what makes me happy…if you believe, you can achieve!”
Mobile Mike has been recognized throughout the years for his continued community service by mayors and state politicians for helping those less fortunate in our communities. He also provides a helping hand whenever needed and hosts many annual charitable events.
Mike has had many successful years in entertainment, advertising, marketing and promotions. Although he is based in South Florida, he travels around the world promoting many organizations and building brands.
Mike’s creativity and ingenuity constantly capture many local and national events. He is the top MC and host chosen each and every year to promote many prestigious events. Mike custom creates, designs, and implements all types of promotions with high profile appearances. Mobile Mike is an emcee at many radio remotes from small events to events larger than life. Mobile Mike’s energy level is like no other and his dedicated fans and followers are continuously looking for him and his fleet of vehicles wherever they go.
You never know where you are going to find Mike, he can turn up on one of his Florida Search Light trucks or you might find him on one of his exciting attention getting monster trucks, Provost Tour Bus, catering Trailer, HD Video Truck, or even an ice cream truck!
The Mobile Mike Foundation offers support to many different charities throughout South Florida. Each event and organization is unique and different. Based on the organization’s needs and their request Mobile Mike will assist them in raising money for their cause through many of his resources, such as selling tee shirts, providing them with advertising and marketing services to support their events and help build community awareness for their cause. Some of the charities he is involved with include: Hollywood Police Athletic League, National Breast Cancer Foundation, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Lauren’s Kids, Inc., County Blue Line Challenge, Miami Dolphins Foundation, American Cancer Society, Big Mama, Team of Life, Toys for Tots and Habitat for Humanity.
Mike is also currently part of the Paul and Young Ron show heard on Big 105.9 as well as the Elvis Duran show on Y-100 and the Jimmy Cefalo show heard on 610 WIOD. Mike does promotions for all seven of the Clear Channel station’s in the South Florida market. Mike says, “My greatest accomplishment recently occurred when I was a big part of raising five hundred and sixty thousand dollars in supplies for Haitian relief in just eighteen hours. Health is wealth to me, just being happy every day and just to be alive is so important. You can always make something of your life…it’s never too late and never give up.”
Now, twenty years later in South Florida, Mike said “It’s great, living the dream. Another major highlight which is always fun is interviewing stars on the red carpet, never thought I would be there!”

Mike says, “You can be on Fort Lauderdale beach selling one hundred dollar bills for five dollars but if nobody knew about it you got nothing! It’s all about getting the message out!”
When asking Mike about his hobbies during his free time he says, “What free time? I work twenty hours a day!” With such high energy, it’s no wonder Mobile Mike rarely sleeps!
