We are excited to announce the 1-800-411-Pain Scholastic Read and
Rise Literacy Campaign. 411-Pain literacy campaign is all about stomping
out illiteracy, not only in South Florida, but all across the nation.
1-800-411-Pain, is known for helping accident victims, but they are also
heavily involved in promoting literacy and the importance of of reading.
1-800-411-Pain, along with Scholastic Book Fairs and Clear Channel
Radio, are here to bring national awareness to this increasing epidemic.
At our annual 1-800-411-Pain Scholastic Read and Rise Literacy Campaign,
our goal is to benefit students and their families in insufficient
schools, in South Florida. Many schools have suffered major budget cuts
and simply can not afford to purchase their own books.
At our 1-800-411-Pain Scholastic Read and Rise Literacy Campaign, we not
only bring awareness to the importance of literacy to our children, but
we get kids excited about reading, and raise funds, so every child at
the fair to receive a $5.00 Reading Certificate. This certificate allows
the children to explore the Scholastic Read and Rise Book Fair and buy
their own books. This encourages the kids to get excited in finding and
reading the books they pick themselves. These campaigns brings the
community and families together in a hugely beneficial cause for all of
our futures.
